We are looking for a motivated Master’s student (Management, Computer or Systems Engineering) to work on a thesis on digital twins for urban mobility, in collaboration with the CTEMT — Casa delle Tecnologie Emergenti di Matera project.
What you will do
- Build and calibrate a simulation model of an urban mobility network using real demand data.
- Experiment with optimization heuristics for sustainable mobility and accessibility scenarios.
- Contribute to an ongoing national research project.
What we look for
- Interest in simulation, optimization and data-driven modelling.
- Some experience with Python (or willingness to learn).
- Curiosity and a hands-on attitude.
